Today is a day that makes me feel thankful for many things. The afternoon was spent lounging on the back porch with my roommate and our stray kitten, Bobcat, who comes and relaxes whenever he pleases. Today, I'm certain Bob is thankful for sunshine and cat food.

There's something so wonderful about that first day when Winter allows itself a chance to relax the cold a bit and give us a glimpse of things to come. Sometimes we all need a reminder that we're alive and I don't think mother nature is really all that different. I have high hopes for you, Spring! My freezer is stocked with popsicles and I have an endless supply of Arnold Palmers waiting to be enjoyed.
